Next Guerrilla Art Show is Friday, June 29, 2018, 6-9pm!

Summer is here and so is our next Guerrilla Art Show. Come join the fun on Friday, JUNE 29th, 2018, 6pm to 9pm, at Studio Gallery 1311, located at 1311 Market Street in La Crosse. The last show was great fun and this one will be no different. We are expecting around 25 local and regional artists working in various media to participate. Just like the previous Guerrilla Shows, the show will be hung an hour prior to the doors opening and what shows up remains a mystery until then! Save the date and please help spread the word.

About Guerrilla Art Shows: These events have roots in the street art movement and are sometimes called “pop-up” shows. Our version is a little different: exhibiting artists are invited by a secret committee, and the names are not published or publicized in advance of the show. Artists are free to show whatever they like (subject to a few simple rules) in the medium/media the artist uses. Artists are not even required to exhibit in true name, so there could be some real surprises!

2nd Guerrilla Art Show at Studio Gallery 1311 on February 2, 2018, 6-9 pm

Plan to attend the 2nd Guerrilla Art Show at Studio Gallery 1311 on February 2, 2018, 6-9 pm. Free admission, gallery located at 1311 Market Street, La Crosse, WI 54601.
Studio Gallery 1311 will be hosting the second ever “Guerrilla Art Show” on Friday, February 2, 2018, 6-9PM. The first one was "wild", this one will be even better. “Guerrilla” in this context refers to an impromptu event that is very loosely run and organized. These events have roots in the street art movement and are sometimes called “pop-up” shows.
At present, 20 invited regional artists will be showing paintings, sculptures, prints, jewelry, mixed media and more! What they will be bringing to exhibit remains a mystery (even to the gallery)!
All of the artwork in the show is hung an hour before the show opens and comes down at the end of the night. This is a one night only art event that you'll want to see for yourself.
