I am pleased to announce an advanced beginner and intermediate course in watercolor painting to be held this summer.
This is a follow up course to the beginning classes that were held last year at the studio gallery. It is intended for students who have a basic understanding of how to get paint on paper and want to advance their technique and understanding of the medium.
We will spend about 2-3 sessions on still life, 3-4 sessions on landscape, 2-3 sessions on figure and portrait type of paintings. The last two sessions will be spent working on a project of the students' choosing.
The class will be held on Monday and Thursday mornings from 0900-1200 hours, starting on Monday, July 11, 2016, and ending Thursday, August 11, 2016.
The class will be limited to 8 students to allow for maximum one-on-one time. The cost for the 10-session course will be $250.

For those who feel they need a refresher course of rank beginner basics, a watercolor blitz is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016, from 0900-1500 (lunch break at noon), at the studio gallery 1311. Please see a separate post on this page shortly for specifics.
