SG1311 is please to announce our last exhibition of the year, hand-crafted fine furniture by Joseph Schwarte and unique collage creations by John Craig. Jospeh Schwarte returns to SG1311 with a few of his latest designs including some very special ‘Hooch Cabinets’ (just in time for the holiday season!) and some recent chair designs. Schwarte’s work shows a strong arts and crafts influence combined with his own unique design ideas resulting in finished objects that are both beautiful and functional. An SG1311 favorite, Joe’s latest work is something you do not want to miss!John Craig joins us for his first showing at SG1311 with a selection of his latest collage creations. John’s work has appeared in numerous national and international publications and has even appeared on album covers such as the Smashing Pumpkins’ CD 'Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness’. His latest work is playful, thought provoking and guaranteed to leave you thinking about it.Please join on the evening of Friday, December 2, 2016, 6-9pm, for the opening reception. Joe and John will be present to meet guests. There will be another art event that evening at State Street Gallery so plan to make an art evening out of both shows.
